Caesar's Creek Pioneer Village
Welcome to the Website for the Pioneer Village. Our website is still going through a few growing pains so it is possible you will find some sections a little short on information. Rest assured though we are working hard to get every section updated and get as much information as you could possibly want on the website. We are going to be putting a lot of information about the History of the Village and you will be able to see how we have grown over the years also. If you have comments, questions or kudos, feel free to drop us a line.
2018 Schedule has now been finalized and is on our Events Page (some changes may occur with events being added like Paranormal but nothing should be removed). If you have an idea for an event that you think would be great for the Village feel free to email us. Also we are a fantastic venue for Weddings and Family Gatherings and the Village is available to be rented. Drop us an email and we will be glad to work with you on planning your event.

Time: 11 am to Noon
We will have our first membership meeting of 2018 on Saturday February 10th at the Bullskin Inn. After the meeting there will be a carry-in lunch and also a work day where we all need to pitch in to get a few things done around the Village. Over the last few months we have found a few tasks that really need our priority so we need everyone helping out to get these taken care of before the public starts coming out for our events.

Civil War Union Training Camp
Date: April 7th and 8th
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Learn about life of a Union Soldier during the Civil War as you take part in the training.
You will be able to witness what life was like for Soldiers during the Civll War while they were in training camp getting ready to go to battle. Walk through the camp and see how they lived and they trained including firing demonstrations. These camps were not easy living for the soldiers and many of them perished here before even reaching a battle field.
This is an event that will appeal to both the young and the old as you will be able to see history actually come to life. Most Civil War events concentrate on just the battles but we strive to bring the history alive. You will be able to witness what their every day life was like in the training camp during the civil war along with living history displays and demonstrations and watch as they carry out their company level and above drills.
The kids will be fascinated to see the soldiers in period dress along with the weapons of the time and it will give them a chance ot be up close and personal with people who have a passion for the civil war and can bring the history that they read in their books to life. Everyone will be fascinated by seeing what life was truly like in those days.

Friday the 13th Public Paranormal Investigation
Date: April 13th and 14th
Time: 7:00 pm to 2:00 am
What could be more perfect than doing a Paranormal Investigation on Friday the 13th? Come join us for the first time we will be investigating on a Friday the 13th. We will be going into at least one building that we have only investigated a couple of times before and it has proven to be pretty active.
This event is not weather dependent so no matter what the weather, we will still investigate. We will have a fire going in the Bullskin Inn as usual and if it happens to still be a bit chilly at night in April then we will be sure to have it going pretty strong (we were able to keep everyone warm for our investigation in January).
There will be a home made dinner for everyone and we will begin investigating after everyone is done eating dinner.
During the dinner, everyone will have the opportunity to talk with our investigators, get to know each other, and we will play some of the evidence which we have gathered over the past year of us investigating at the Village. We will also play some of the evidence which has been recorded by our Investigators from other investigations outside of the Village so everyone will have an idea of what could be found. There will also be members of the Village available to tell you the history of the Village itself and all of the buildings in the Village and to answer any questions you may have about the Pioneer Village.
